A program of solo and chamber music that will feature Pittsburg State University's new harpsichord in various roles. This recent acquisition, from the shop of Craig Tomlinson in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a French style two-manual harpsichord modelled after a 1764/84 Goermans/Taskin instrument. PSU music faculty and students will collaborate in this program that will have at its core music drawn from French and German repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries.
