STUDENTS TO SCREEN DOCUMENTARIES AT 10TH ANNUAL PSU DOCUMENTARY SHOWCASE
Documentary Filmmaking students are making final preparations for the 10th Annual PSU Documentary Showcase. Students, as part of the course, produce short, 10 to 15 minute documentaries. This event will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the Miller Theater located in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. A question and answer forum with the students will promptly follow the screening.
Hudson, an Associate Professor in the Communication Department said, "We started this event 10 years ago as a way to show off our students' great work to, mainly, other students. It has grown since then. Now, other faculty, staff, and members of the community are regular annual attendees. The documentary students have worked very hard to develop the skills necessary to create quality short films, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to show off their work to everyone.”
The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be provided. For further information, please contact Leo Hudson via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-620-235-6507.
