Accepted payment methods

Box Office

Our box office is located just inside our north door. It is open an hour before each performance. To purchase tickets early, please visit the PSU Ticket Office inside the Weede Gymnasium Building north of our building. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Phone: 620-235-4796.

Parking

Parking is free and convenient: one lot is north of our facility and one lot is across Homer Street to the northwest. For large productions like Broadway shows, please plan to arrive early to give yourself time for a short walk.

Please note: we are next door to the John Lance Arena and the Plaster Center. Both facilities attract athletic tournaments and competitions that sometimes occur at the same time as our performances. Parking lots can fill quickly. In that case, additional parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to Carnie Smith Stadium, which is about a 5-minute walk from our center along a paved hike-bike path.

Accessibility

If you have needs that aren't addressed here, please contact us at 620-235-6130 and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Accessible parking spaces are available on the north side of the building about 75 feet away from the entrance.

An elevator is available to take patrons from the main level to the mezzanine.

Accessible seating is available in the Dotty and Bill Miller Theater and the Linda &Lee Scott Performance Hall. For ticketed events, please let our Box Office know of your needs when making ticket purchases. For non-ticketed events, if you need assistance upon arrival, please let our staff know.

Restrooms with accessible stalls are along the hallway between the lobby and the Linda and Lee Scott Performance Hall.

Seating

The lobby is open an hour before the show. You are welcome to arrive as early as you like. The performance spaces will open for seating 30 minutes before each show.

Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the house manager or ushers at a suitable break in the performance and in a location that is least disruptive to the performance.

Our lobby and performance spaces are air conditioned during the warmer months. If you tend to get chilly in AC, consider bringing a light sweater to put on so you're comfortable during the show.

Cameras

Photography and videography varies by performancea but typically is prohibited. Bicknell Center staff do record locally-produced performances for which rights have been obtained, and we make those available for viewing on our YouTube channel.

Media requests

Photos and video by professional media will be limited to certain areas and for a limited time so as not to disrupt the performers or the audience. Requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance to Andra Stefanoni, director of Media Relations, at astefanoni@pittstate.edu

Concessions

Concessions are not typically sold at the Bicknell Center. Food and drink are prohibited inside performance spaces.
